Indian Head Massage

Are you experiencing strain on your back, neck and shoulders? New mums can often feel this from the constant lifting, feeding and carrying their new baby and all the paraphernalia that come with them. Indian Head Massage may help ease aches and pains during and after pregnancy.

Jo will use the basic techniques and principles of Indian Head Massage along with Reiki to give a gentle and soothing massage to the arms, upper back, neck, shoulders, scalp and face.

What happens during a treatment?
Indian Head Massage is carried out in a seated position, either fully clothed or with upper back, shoulders and arms exposed when using Neal’s Yard organic massage oil. An adult treatment will last about an hour; children’s appointments will be shorter.

Indian Head massage is ideal during pregnancy as you remain seated and it is the upper body that is treated.
