Baby Massage
How long does an instruction take?
The initial instruction usually lasts approximately one hour with subsequent ones taking approximately 30 - 45 minutes, depending on the needs of your baby.
Do I need any special equipment or materials?
Baby massage will involve day to day things that you are already using, I will discuss suitable oils or lotions with you, should you choose to use them. However please ensure that you have a towel and drink readily available for your baby.
Where can I massage my baby?
The Massage may be carried out on the floor, on the bed or on your lap, choice being dependent on comfort for you and your baby.
Do I need to undress my baby before massage?
No, you can massage your baby through a sleep suit if you or your baby prefer.
What is the best age to start massage with my baby?
It is ideal to introduce your baby to massage when he or she is still very young, however it's never too late!
Can I have baby massage instruction in my own home?
Yes, Jo will be happy to instruct you on a one to one basis, or you can even hold a group session for friends!

What if my baby becomes restless during the session?
Not a problem - if your baby becomes tired or hungry Jo will either wait while you attend to your baby's needs, or you may watch Jo demonstrate the techniques on the doll. If you wish you may work on a doll while your baby sleeps!
